Governance
Each Local Authority signs a service level agreement or contract with DASH services (Derby City Council).
Each Landlord signs a declaration to adhere to a Code of Conduct outlined within the Accreditation Scheme Manual.
In order to ensure our aims and values are met, outstanding service is provided and the service grows, DASH has an Accreditation and Appeals Panel (AAP). The purpose of the AAP is to improve standards of Private Rental Property by acting on behalf of the wider community of Landlords, Tenants and subscribing Councils to:
Ensure a fit for purpose Accreditation Scheme and Manual
Ensure clear policies and procedures are in place for the Accreditation Scheme
Ensure the Accreditation Scheme is applied in an effective, fair and transparent manner
Provide Landlords with a mechanism to appeal DASH decisions
Drive continual improvement
