Landlord Development Course

DASH Services offers a range of online courses for Landlords to complete in order to further and maintain their professional development.

This course is based on best on legal and best practice guidance in the Private Rented Sector (PRS).

As Landlords, we need to know the essentials for managing a residential property.  The Landlord Development foundation course gives you the confidence to know that you are managing your tenants and property in a responsible way.

The training is intended to follow the natural progression of a tenancy from beginning to end and will cover all the main areas a landlord should know.

  • Pre Tenancy

  • Roles and Responsibilities

  • Inspecting your Property

  • Setting Up and During a Tenancy

  • Ending a Tenancy

  • HMOs

At the end of each module there will be a set of multiple choice questions.  Finally, there will be one open answer question for you to submit for assessment by DASH.

By the end of this course, Landlords will have developed their management skills and understand their rights and responsibilities.  They will be able to identify and eliminate those unacceptable health and safety hazards that are the Landlord’s responsibility in law.

Landlords can get this training FREE as part of their membership with DASH Landlord Accreditation - Become a Member now.

The course is also open to non-members at a cost of £60.  Payment is made online.

This course satisfies a number of Council's Licensing criteria (including Nottingham, Portsmouth, Charnwood and Gedling), which requires a Landlord to have completed suitable professional development.
